This model SHU C-ZDP-DP UME is almost the same as original SHU. The difference is in the handle coating which is DLC-Prism coating. The process is the same like for DLC coating, but some moments are different. The oven is heated to 400 degrees Celsius, making the surface hardness close to a diamond, approximately Hv3000. The thickness of the coating is just 0.3 Microns. Also we use this special coating to the titanium handle of the knife, with the reason - this coating color has beautiful gradation. Please notice: The coating color will be a little bit different for each handle.
