This model is a highly practical fixed knife due to it's compact size and light weight . Kei ZDP model is a superb addition for the outdoor enthusiast. The blade shape is a convex form known as the "Honzukuri" and is made from ZDP 189 powder steel. ZDP 189 is a powder stainless steel material developed for cutlery. It is a product of the nanotech. Sharpness did not decrease so much to the blade of ZDP189 after having cut hard Manila rope 780 times. However, it is an unsuitable knife to the beating cut. KEI is supplied with a leather sheath with Kydex insert.
