The Rockstead HIGOⅡ TI-DLC (S) is a full-size, slim-profile folding knife built around a DLC-coated YXR7 blade, Rockstead’s Honzukuri convex geometry, and a sculpted titanium frame-lock handle.
The Shiny (S) version features a polished DLC finish on the sculpted titanium handle, giving the black surface a deeper, more reflective appearance while retaining the clean lines of the HIGOⅡ.
One of the defining features of a Rockstead blade is its compound bevel—or progressive edge angle—blending from around 30° at the ricasso/heel down to 24° at the tip. This adds extra meat behind the edge where you need raw toughness for heavy cuts, while tapering into a much slicier, finer geometry towards the tip.Hand-custom-fitted bronze washers give it a buttery smooth action both open and shut, with zero blade play in any direction. Better yet, it’s designed for hassle-free maintenance—takedown and reassembly are a breeze, requiring no tedious tuning to achieve perfect centering or restore its smooth operation. The titanium frame lock is fitted with a hardened lockbar insert at the point where it engages the blade tang. This creates a durable locking surface and helps prevent wear on the titanium lock face.
The DLC finish extends across both the blade and handle, creating the characteristic all-black appearance of the HIGOⅡ TI-DLC. Each knife is individually serialized and accompanied by an inspection certificate stating the Rockwell hardness measured for that specific blade.
